{"id":11359,"date":"2025-05-05T13:59:43","date_gmt":"2025-05-05T13:59:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=11359"},"modified":"2025-05-05T13:59:44","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T13:59:44","slug":"infallible-tricks-to-remove-limescale-from-the-shower-glass-and-make-it-shine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=11359","title":{"rendered":"Infallible tricks to remove limescale from the shower glass and make it shine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bathroom is one of the environments that tends to get dirty faster, because of the bacteria that accumulates, the soap that sticks on the tiles and the drops of water that, when dry, leave the very annoying limestone spots that make the shower glass opaque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Water contains calcium, but also other minerals such as iron that, when it comes into contact with the air, rusts itself creating stains that, over time, become increasingly difficult to eliminate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are numerous products aimed at removing limescale from the glass, but almost all of them contain toxic ingredients that can cause irritation to the eyes, skin or the airways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ideal is to open the bathroom windows to circulate air, or to use natural ingredients, economical and harmless to our health.<br>White water and vinegar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You need to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">250 ml of water<br>250 ml of white vinegar<br>the juice of a lemon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour all the ingredients into a spray bottle, shake well and spray on the shower door glass. Act for 10 minutes, then pass a sponge to clean well and remove the limescale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then pour water on the glass to rinse, then dry with a clean cloth and make a last pass with newspaper, to polish the glass.<br>White vinegar and baking soda<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat about 250 ml of water, then pour into a spray bottle, add two tablespoons of white vinegar and two of baking soda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spray the solution on all the shower glass and let it act for 15 minutes, then clean well with a sponge to remove all limescale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, dry well with a microfiber cloth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply this technique at least once a week.<br>Water abrasive paper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This product is used by bodybuilders to finish car paints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> It is abrasive paper, similar to sandpaper, but water. Be careful to buy the right product to avoid scratching the shower glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour water on the shower glass using a spray bottle, then pass the water-shaped paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The limestone will immediately come away. Afterwards, it dries with a clean cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of the three tricks to clean the shower glass, the last one is definitely our favorite because it is the most effective and quick to put into practice.
