We picked it with our dirt-covered hands, brushing away the dirt before savoring its savory flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It wasn&#8217;t just hunger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Our understanding of the world was shaped by that experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you ever bitten an icicle or tried to ride a sled in the cold? We were curious and ready to try anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the lilac and acacia season, we enjoyed their delicate flowers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We paid special attention to the lilac flowers with their wonderful arrangement of five exquisite petals.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/875.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1855\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also tasted tender maple shoots and clover flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/876.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1854\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The river valleys were home to wild onions of exceptional flavor and sweetness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whenever we were lucky enough to come across them, we would savor their deliciousness until our stomachs were satisfied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And, not wanting to waste such a treasure, we collected them and brought them home, where my mother skillfully added them to her delicious pies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, we consumed a significant amount of sorrel, an herb that we consumed in abundance.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/877.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1853\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My favorite treat was nightshade, especially the fully ripe black berries. These berries had quite a distinct flavor that was not at all ordinary.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/878.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1852\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The memories of wild cherries remained in my memory, their taste was forever imprinted in my memory. During the summer spent in the pioneer camp, we were treated to an abundance of wild cherries, sweeter than domestic ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our impatient eyes were constantly looking for the perfect moment to enjoy their delicious taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We often ate raw corn and made dolls out of it.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/879.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1851\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We not only ate rowan, but also made beads from it. If we collected all the jewelry molded from this material, the resulting collection would stretch over a distance of more than one kilometer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The special aroma of the reed root left an indelible impression on me. I will never forget its unique taste. To get it, we went by boat to the reed, where we delicately extracted one reed along with its root.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reeds grow in the muddy area. After removing the snags, we carefully cleaned and chopped them, revealing the intact fibers, which have a taste reminiscent of semolina porridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you ever experimented with reed roots?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were especially pleased with the delicious strawberries and bird cherry.
