You often see people waving branches at a bus stop, trying to drive away insects, because regular repellents often prove useless.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snimok-ekrana-2024-05-07-v-20.09.44-500x332-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9393\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Living in a private house with my own plot, I also faced this problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> But a few years ago I discovered an excellent and almost free way to get rid of mosquitoes for the whole summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you will need for this:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two plastic bottles with a capacity of 1.5 liters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One plastic bottle with a capacity of 5 liters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-1-9-500x288-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9385\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, use a craft knife to cut off the necks of the small bottles so that they become funnels, as shown in the photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-2-6-500x325-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9386\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-3-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9387\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-4-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9388\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, in a five-liter bottle, cut two holes to match the diameter of these necks. Insert the funnels into the holes and secure them with hot glue or superglue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-5-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9389\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This creates a simple but effective trap for mosquitoes, wasps and other insects.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-6-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9390\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the trap to work, you need to follow these steps:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pour 200-300 ml of water into a large bottle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add one or two tablespoons of sugar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a teaspoon of dry yeast.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour the resulting mixture into the trap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-7-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9391\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carbon dioxide, which will be released during the fermentation process of the mixture, will attract mosquitoes to the trap, where they will die. It is recommended to make several such traps and place them around the perimeter of the site.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/scale_1200-8-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9392\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This method is an effective and time-tested way to combat mosquitoes.
