In medical terms, tinnitus is a persistent noise, like a ringing or a purring noise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This noise does not come from an external source; therefore, its existence causes discomfort to the sufferer, as they cannot explain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Causes of Tinnitus<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bunny-wp-pullzone-qbwibhia54.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot_746.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-203643\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The causes of tinnitus are varied; as I mentioned earlier, this is a symptom. Ear damage and the use of medication are associated with the appearance of this persistent sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>Ear Damage:<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>Ear Damage:<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ear consists of three main parts: the outer, middle, and inner. The outer part is the auricle and the ear canal that leads to the eardrum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the eardrum is the box-shaped middle ear. Then, further inside, is the inner ear; here are the connections to the nervous system that carry information to the brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the middle or inner ear is damaged, for any reason, the ear canal is damaged. This can lead to the appearance of tinnitus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These conditions are divided into those that affect the conduction of sound waves, such as a disorder of the ossicles, or those that affect neuronal interpretation in the brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sound can also be caused by the pressure of tumor cells against the acoustic nerve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Long-term exposure to intense noise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People who work with noisy machinery or in environments with high decibels for much of the day are likely to hear this hissing sound outside of work hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> For example, hydraulic hammer operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, damage can occur from listening to loud music on headphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other causes include:<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Some medications<br>\u2013 Temporomandibular joint disorders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tinnitus is not a disease in itself; it is rather a symptom.
