Blend the tomatoes with their juice in a blender until they become a fine paste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a deep pot, place the cabbage,\u00a0<strong>whole onion<\/strong>\u00a0, and\u00a0<strong>celery stalk<\/strong>\u00a0(whole or cut in half).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix the tomato paste with 250 ml of warm water and pour into the pot along with the pureed tomatoes, salt and cumin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simmer everything over medium heat for 25 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally. Finally, remove the onion and celery \u2014 they have already given off their flavor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a small frying pan,\u00a0<strong>heat the oil<\/strong>\u00a0and add the flour. Fry lightly for 1\u20132 minutes, until golden brown, then add the remaining hot water and paprika. Mix well and pour over the cabbage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook for another 5\u20137 minutes, until the sauce becomes thick and consistent.
