You can peel them or leave them with the peel.<br>Place the apple pieces in a bowl with water and a few drops of lemon juice to prevent them from blackening. Leave to rest for 5 minutes.<br><strong>Preparation of the pots:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prepare 3 500ml glass jars, ensuring they are clean and sterilised.<br>Place 1 tablespoon of sugar in each jar.<br>Fill the jars with apples and add drinking water, leaving some space at the top.<br>If necessary, add more water to fill the jars.<br>Close the jars with new, clean lids.<br><strong>Cooking and conservation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place a clean cloth in the bottom of a large pot and arrange the jars on top.<br>Fill the pot with water to cover half the jars.<br>Bring the water to the boil and, once it reaches the boil, cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.<br>Leave the jars in the water for 2-3 hours after cooking.<br>Once cooled, store the jars in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place.<br><strong>Serving:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple compote can be stored for months and served as a dessert or used in various recipes.<br><strong>Enjoy your meal<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:Apples: 2 kgJuice of half a lemonSugar: 1 tablespoon per jarDrinking water: as neededPreparation: Preparation of the apples: Wash the apples and cut them into small pieces.
