I love how the pork soaks up the flavor of the sauce and how it only requires 5 ingredients!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prep time 10 minutes<br>Cook time 10 hours<br>Total time 10 hours 10 minutes<br>Servings: 8<br>Calories: 561cal<br>Ingredients: Slow Cooker Roast Pork Loin<br>Pork loin OR shoulder\/Boston rump, or Scotch bonnet, skinless (Note 1)<br>2 tablespoons olive oil, divided<br>Spice Rub:<br>1 teaspoon paprika, thyme<br>1 teaspoon each garlic powder, onion powder<br>1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional<br>1 tablespoon pepper<br>2 tablespoons salt<br>Honey Butter Sauce:<br>unsalted butter<br>1 clove garlic, minced<br>1\/2 cup apple cider vinegar<br>1 teaspoon each salt and pepper<br>Thickener:<br>2 teaspoons cornflour\/cornstarch mixed with a little water<br>How to: Slow Cooker Roast Pork Loin<br>Spice Rub: Rub the pork with about 1 teaspoon of oil. Mix and sprinkle over the pork. Pat to combine.<br>Brown: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork and brown until golden (do not let the seasonings burn). Transfer the pork to the slow cooker.<br>Honey Butter Sauce: Wipe out the skillet. Add the butter and melt. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until golden. Add the remaining sauce ingredients, mix, and cook briefly for 30 seconds.<br>Slow Cook: Pour the sauce over the pork. Cover the slow cooker.<br>Pork Loin: Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours (see Note 2 for cooking times for different sizes).<br>Pork Shoulder: Cook on low for 10 hours (see Note 2 for cooking times for different sizes and Note 4 for oven, Instant Pot, and pressure cooker methods). Therefore, remove the pork to a serving dish and loosely cover it with aluminum foil (let it rest for 10\u201320 minutes). (See Note 6 on cooking.)<br>Of course, pour all the juices from the slow cooker into a large saucepan. Add the cornflour and water mixture and stir.<br>Thicken sauce: Then cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until reduced to a syrupy consistency (Note 3).<br>Finally, slice the pork into thick slices (1.5\u20132 cm \/ 3\/5\u20134\/5 inch thick).
