At first, we thought it was just a defect, then that maybe a piece of chocolate had gotten in. But my daughter, always curious, decided to carefully poke around with a spoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A moment later, she screamed. It was a scorpion. A real one, albeit dead. Judging by its size, it was just a baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We froze. The first thing that came to mind was how it could have gotten there in the first place. Maybe it happened back at the factory, when they poured the ice cream into the cones?
