A fatal accident in Dolj occurred on DN 65C Craiova\u2013Horezu, in the area of \u200b\u200bMurga\u0219i, where two cars and a road train were involved. As a result of the violent collision, one person lost their life, and four others were injured and urgently transported to the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event quickly mobilized crews from the Traffic Police, the Dolj Emergency Situations Inspectorate and medical services. The severity of the impact was confirmed by the fact that one of the victims remained trapped, requiring the intervention of extrication crews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"chapter-0\">Fatal accident on DN 65C, in Dolj county<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the first official information, five people were directly involved in the fatal accident in Dolj. The Traffic Information Center within the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police sent a first assessment of the road event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Following the collision, five people were injured, and the intervention teams are working to free one of them,&#8221; the Infotrafic center within the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the person trapped between the twisted limbs of the vehicle could not be saved. The Dolj Emergency Situations Inspectorate later announced that the victim did not respond to resuscitation maneuvers performed at the scene and was declared dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other four injured people received emergency medical care and were transported to hospitals for investigation and specialized treatment. Traffic on DN 65C Craiova\u2013Horezu was temporarily stopped to allow rescue crews to intervene, conduct on-site investigations and clear the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traffic police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the collision. They will analyze skid marks, the position of the vehicles, witness statements and, if applicable, images captured by surveillance cameras in the area. They will also determine whether speed, inattention or other causes contributed to the tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The national road DN 65C Craiova\u2013Horezu is known as a heavily traveled section, on which, over time, numerous serious accidents have occurred. Mixed traffic, excessive speed and risky overtaking are factors that increase the risk of road events with dramatic consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Murga\u0219i tragedy adds to a growing list of serious accidents on Romanian roads.
