Here’s how.

Cooking with rosemary: we’re all familiar with this aromatic herb and the difference it can make in our dishes, thanks to its incomparable aroma and the flavor it imparts to foods. However, rosemary isn’t just an excellent ally in the kitchen; it can also be useful in many other areas thanks to its extreme versatility. Many people even plant rosemary on their balconies, as it’s so beautiful and produces beautiful purple flowers. Beyond its valuable contribution in the kitchen, the typical rosemary needles and sprigs can also be used in many other ways: as a basic ingredient in excellent natural beauty products and healthy infusions. This aromatic herb is known for its many virtues and acts as a natural antiseptic, relieves coughs, and is also useful against indigestion.

Rosemary sprigs:
In short, there are many uses, and not everyone knows them. Below, we illustrate a few, easy to follow or implement without spending a lot, and which can solve some common problems naturally and immediately.

Rosemary sprigs: use them this way and you’ll see results. With just 10 rosemary sprigs, for example, you can make an excellent foot bath, which will help tired feet and simultaneously relieve varicose veins. Place the sprigs in a pot with 1 liter of water and simmer for at least 20 minutes. Once the heat is off, combine 3 liters of warm water, 100 ml of apple cider vinegar, a cup of coarse salt, and, of course, our infusion, including the sprigs. After thirty minutes of this treatment, your feet will be as good as new!

Rosemary sprig: Are you out of anti-aging cream? No problem, rosemary helps here too. Prepare a decoction by placing 4 or 5 rosemary sprigs in a small saucepan with a cup of water and boiling for about twenty minutes. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix two teaspoons of oatmeal or rice flour with a teaspoon of honey, then pour in the strained broth. We’ve created a mask that we apply to our face for 15 minutes. The skin is regenerated.

Other cosmetics to make with this aromatic herb

Using our rosemary decoction as a base, we can then create a toner that we apply to our face once a day to make it brighter and smoother. Simply add 50 ml of denatured alcohol to our infusion and mix well.

And if we can’t go to the hairdresser, we can cover gray hairs with a homemade lotion. All we need is half a cup of rosemary needles and half a cup of sage, along with 450 ml of water. After chopping both herbs, add them to a saucepan and cook for at least 30 minutes. Then let it steep for 3 hours. Once strained, we can apply it to our hair, repeating the process at least 15 times, collecting the liquid by placing a bowl underneath and letting it steep for 10 minutes before rinsing.

Rosemary is one of the most widely used aromatic herbs in cooking, but not everyone knows how many other uses its sprigs have.
