{"id":23173,"date":"2026-06-11T17:43:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T17:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=23173"},"modified":"2026-06-11T17:43:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T17:43:09","slug":"i-take-8-spoons-of-the-powder-and-treat-the-cabbage-there-are-no-slugs-caterpillars-or-fleas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=23173","title":{"rendered":"I take 8 spoons of the \u201cpowder\u201d and treat the cabbage: there are no slugs, caterpillars, or fleas."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I haven&#8217;t had any problems with pests on my cabbage for a long time, and I don&#8217;t use any chemicals to kill them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/499874507_1242926523862852_7284010356068076849_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21748\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For several seasons now, I have been successfully using a homemade natural remedy, which consists entirely of natural ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/scale_1200-srednij-razmer-48.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21744\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is the composition that I use to control cabbage pests and other crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I add 5 tablespoons of mustard powder, 1 tablespoon of ground red hot pepper, and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. The total amount of ingredients is 8 tablespoons.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/scale_1200-2-srednij-razmer-43.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21746\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, I pour 5 tablespoons of mustard powder into a liter jar and fill it with hot water at a temperature of about 50 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After thoroughly mixing, I let the mixture steep for about three days. Then I mix the mustard powder infusion with 8 liters of water in a bucket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I add 1 tablespoon of red hot ground pepper and 2 tablespoons of soda ash.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topsovety.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/scale_1200-3-srednij-razmer-41.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21745\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thoroughly mix all the ingredients and begin treating the cabbage or other crops. After a couple of hours, the plants are no longer infested with slugs, fleas, or caterpillars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This treatment is usually sufficient for a month. In case of heavy rain or if signs of pest infestation appear, I repeat the treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P.S. I recommended my friend from a neighboring city to use this composition to treat potatoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She followed my advice and never had a Colorado potato beetle again.
