But if the plant lacks strength, it spends it on new flowers and ovaries, and the already formed fruits ripen very slowly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is worth doing right now:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pinch the top of the bush. This will stop active growth and help the plant direct nutrients to the ripening of the peppers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove excess flowers and small ovaries. They only take strength, and by autumn they still will not manage to form a full harvest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not overuse nitrogen fertilizers. The fewer ripe fruits remain on the bush, the faster the others ripen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the pepper suddenly becomes bitter, most often the reason is uneven watering, strong heat or lack of moisture.
