Mix well until a dough forms, adjusting water if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knead the dough on a floured surface for 4 to 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For the Filling:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Peel and cube the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saut\u00e9 diced onions in 2 tablespoons of butter until tender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mash cooked potatoes in a bowl. Add saut\u00e9ed onions, cheddar cheese, remaining butter, salt, and white pepper.
