{"id":3654,"date":"2024-08-09T10:34:32","date_gmt":"2024-08-09T10:34:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=3654"},"modified":"2024-08-09T10:34:32","modified_gmt":"2024-08-09T10:34:32","slug":"fruit-chocolate-terrine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=3654","title":{"rendered":"Fruit &amp; Chocolate Terrine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For the Milk &amp; Fruit Layer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"511\" height=\"631\" src=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-36.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3656\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-36.png 511w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-36-243x300.png 243w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-36-300x370.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 511px) 100vw, 511px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">500 ml milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">30 <a><\/a>grams sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7 grams Agar-Agar powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fruits (sliced):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Strawberries<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oranges<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kiwis<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bananas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the Chocolate Coating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">500 ml milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">80 grams sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7 grams Agar-Agar powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">15 grams cocoa powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">130 grams dark chocolate, chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Equipment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baking pan (for milk &amp; fruit layer): 18\u00d77\u00d76 cm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baking pan (for chocolate coating): 20\u00d79\u00d77 cm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prepare the Fruit Layer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a saucepan, mix 500 ml milk, 30 grams sugar, and 7 grams Agar-Agar powder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat the mixture on medium heat until the sugar and Agar-Agar dissolve completely, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once dissolved, pour the mixture into the 18\u00d77\u00d76 cm baking pan, filling it up to about 1\/3 of the height.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before the mixture sets, gently place your sliced fruits into the milk layer in a decorative pattern. Allow some space between each piece of fruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let it cool and set completely, which should take about 1 hour at room temperature or 30 minutes if refrigerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prepare the Chocolate Coating:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In another saucepan, combine 500 ml milk, 80 grams sugar, 7 grams Agar-Agar, and 15 grams cocoa powder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat this mixture while stirring until everything is dissolved and well combined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the mixture is smooth, add the chopped dark chocolate and stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture is homogeneous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly, just so it&#8217;s not hot enough to melt the fruit layer when poured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Assemble the Terrine:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take the slightly cooled chocolate mixture and gently pour it over the set milk and fruit layer to create the chocolate coating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fill the larger 20\u00d79\u00d77 cm baking pan with the chocolate mixture, then carefully place the set milk and fruit layer pan inside the chocolate coating pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let the entire dessert set in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or until firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Unmolding and Serving:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once set, gently remove the terrine from the baking pan.
