Although I don&#8217;t know exactly which tree it is, I can still give you a recipe for a traditional Slovak dish that might bring back the memories of this tree and the feelings associated with it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-1024x512.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-395\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-1024x512.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-1536x768.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-850x425.png 850w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14.png 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bryndzov\u00e9 Halu\u0161ky (Slovak potato dumplings with sheep cheese)<br><strong>Ingredients<\/strong>:<br>500 g potatoes, peeled and grated<br>200 g Bryndza (Slovak sheep cheese)<br>150 g bacon, diced<br>1 onion, finely chopped<br>200g flour<br>Salt<br>butter, for frying<br><strong>Preparation:<br><\/strong>Place the grated potatoes in a clean tea towel and squeeze well to remove excess moisture.<br>Place the potatoes in a bowl and mix with flour and a pinch of salt to form a dough.<br>Form the dough into oblong rolls on a floured work surface and cut into pieces about 2 cm long to form the dumplings. The dumplings can be lightly fluted with a fork.<br>Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and add the potato dumplings in portions. Cook until they rise to the surface, then remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.<br>Fry the diced bacon in a pan until crispy, then add the chopped onion and fry until translucent.<br>Add the cooked potato dumplings to the pan and mix well.<br>Crumble the bryndza over the dumplings and stir until it is melted and evenly distributed over the dumplings.<br>Season with salt and serve with a little butter.<br>Bryndzov\u00e9 Halu\u0161ky are a classic Slovak dish often associated with memories of home and traditions.
