bread<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cheese slices<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sandwich ham slices<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More cheese for layering (your choice)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 tablespoon mayonnaise (for one version)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 eggs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salt and pepper, to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">100g mozzarella cheese, shredded<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">12g butter (for another version)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2\/3 teaspoon minced garlic<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 tablespoon honey (optional for the mayonnaise version)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional shredded cheese of another type, for topping<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prep the Toast:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Layer each slice of bread with cheese, then ham, and another layer of cheese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use a cup to press down in the center of each slice to create a well for the eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Add the Eggs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Break an egg into the well in each slice of bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over each egg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carefully break the yolks with a fork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Add Toppings:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Surround the egg with shredded mozzarella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If using the garlic butter version, spread butter and minced garlic over the bread and egg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Optionally, spread some butter on the edges of the bread as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bake:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0C (355\u00b0F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the egg is undercooked, reduce the oven to 145-160\u00b0C and leave it a little longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Add the additional shredded cheese on top a few minutes before finishing baking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Garnish and Serve:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sprinkle chopped parsley over the baked toast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cut into halves for easier eating and transfer to a plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Enjoy:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the mayonnaise version, you can drizzle honey over the toast before eating if desired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Serve hot, and enjoy
