Recipes from European cuisine were adapted, and original dishes were created. Many drew inspiration from recipes of the pre-revolutionary era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most desserts and dishes were so simple that every housewife could prepare them at home, replacing the ingredients with more affordable alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"406\" src=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-97.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-704\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-97.png 768w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-97-300x159.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the forgotten but once popular delicacies was the General cake, which was in great demand in pastry shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We invite you to try to recreate this wonderful cake in your kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will need to prepare dough for three cake layers. Take three bowls, add 100 grams of sugar, a teaspoon of vanilla and one egg to each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thoroughly whisk the contents of each bowl until smooth. Add 125 ml of sour cream and half a spoon of soda to each bowl, wait for the reaction and pour into the egg mixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, sift 80 grams of flour into each bowl and knead the biscuit dough. Add pre-softened raisins to one bowl, poppy seeds to the second, and nuts to the third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"442\" src=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-96.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-703\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-96.png 768w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-96-300x173.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Line a baking pan with parchment and bake the cakes one at a time: first the cake with raisins at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, then the remaining two cakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the cream, beat 200 grams of butter with a mixer for about seven minutes, then gradually add condensed milk, continuing to beat until smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grease the two layers with cream and assemble the cake, leaving the top layer without cream. Place the cake in the refrigerator for an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mix the remaining butter, sugar and sour cream in a saucepan, add sifted cocoa and bring to thicken over low heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"462\" src=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-95.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-702\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-95.png 768w, https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-95-300x180.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour the finished glaze over the top of the cake after cooling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We suggest decorating the \u201cGeneral\u201d cake with chopped peanuts for attractiveness and taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This dessert will introduce you to the heritage of Soviet confectionery culture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last century, confectioners and chefs in our country have achieved significant success in creating unique dishes.
