Slice the potatoes and soak them in cold water to remove excess starch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>2. Finely chop the onion and fry in a skillet for 2 minutes until slightly soft.<br>3. Add sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.<br>4. Drain the potatoes and layer them in a baking dish. Spread the cooked onions and peppers over the potatoes.<br>6. Grate the cheese over the top.
