{"id":7982,"date":"2025-01-16T16:14:57","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T16:14:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=7982"},"modified":"2025-01-16T16:14:57","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T16:14:57","slug":"cheesy-chicken-roll-ups-with-tomato-basil-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=7982","title":{"rendered":"Cheesy Chicken Roll-Ups with Tomato Basil Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salt and freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">100 grams butter, softened<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">50 grams fresh dill, chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5-7 cherry tomatoes, halved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 sprig fresh basil, chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 clove garlic, minced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">30 milliliters olive oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bd sweet pepper, chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">50 grams breadcrumbs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 egg, beaten<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally, creating thin cutlets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spread the softened butter over each chicken cutlet. In the image, it looks like the butter is mixed with Parmesan cheese and dill. You can do this if you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese and dill mixture over the chicken cutlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting from a short end, roll up the chicken cutlets tightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a shallow bowl, whisk together the beaten egg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In another shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and remaining Parmesan cheese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dip each chicken roll in the egg mixture, then coat it in the Parmesan cheese breadcrumb mixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the breaded chicken rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tomato Basil Sauce:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the chicken rolls are baking, prepare the sauce. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Add the garlic and chopped sweet pepper. Saut\u00e9 for 2-3 minutes, or until softened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional minute, or until the tomatoes start to burst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remove the pan from the heat and use an immersion blender to puree the sauce, or transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To Serve:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spoon the tomato basil sauce on a plate and top with the baked chicken rolls.
