Let\u2019s cook!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">250 g chickpeas<br>500 g meat<br>1 onion<br>1 green pepper<br>1 chili pepper (optional)<br>2 teaspoons ground chili pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>1.5 tablespoons tomato puree<br>1 pinch oregano<br>1 pinch thyme<br>1 pinch dried mint<br>Salt to taste<br>preparation<br>Start by soaking the chickpeas in water for at least 12 hours. After this time, drain and set aside.<br>We cut the meat into medium pieces. In a large saucepan, heat a little oil over medium heat and brown the meat until it is well sealed on all sides. We remove and reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In the same saucepan, add the chopped onion and the green pepper cut into pieces. We fry until tender.<br>If you decide to use the hot pepper, add it now with the ground pepper and the tomato puree. We mix well and let it cook for a few minutes.<br>We add the soaked chickpeas to the saucepan with the browned meat. We cover with enough water so that all the ingredients are well covered.<br>Season with a pinch of oregano, thyme and dried mint. We add salt to taste.<br>Cover the saucepan and let it cook over low heat for about 1 hour and a half, or until the chickpeas are tender and the meat is well cooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>If necessary, add water during cooking to prevent the stew from becoming too dry.<br>Serve with a little rice and enjoy this delight<br>Tips:<br>Chilli: Chilli is optional, but if you like a spicy touch, feel free to add it!<br>Ground chilli: If you can\u2019t find ground chilli, you can use sweet paprika.<br>Accompaniments: This dish is delicious accompanied by good homemade bread or rice.<br>And done!
