Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Then drain and set aside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2\ufe0f\u20e3 Prepare the cheese sauce:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the flour and stir constantly to form a roux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook the roux for 1-2 minutes until it turns light golden brown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slowly stir in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Heat for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir in half of the grated cheddar cheese and stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce becomes creamy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg and remove from the heat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3\ufe0f\u20e3 Prepare vegetables and meat:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In another pan, heat some oil and cook the chopped onion, carrot and garlic over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are soft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until slightly tender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Push the vegetables aside and fry the ground meat until browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crumble the meat and mix with tomato paste, oregano, salt and pepper.
