{"id":8575,"date":"2025-02-05T10:53:48","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T10:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=8575"},"modified":"2025-02-05T10:53:48","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T10:53:48","slug":"recipe-stuffed-eggplant-millefeuille","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.garden-tricks.top\/?p=8575","title":{"rendered":"Recipe Stuffed Eggplant Millefeuille"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A creative and tasty way to enjoy eggplant, stuffed with a spicy minced meat filling and layered into a delicious millefeuille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For the eggplants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2 eggplants<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salt<\/strong>\u00a0(for draining and seasoning)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 eggs<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>100 g<\/strong>\u00a0natural Greek yogurt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>250 g<\/strong>\u00a0breadcrumbs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>50 g<\/strong>\u00a0grated Parmesan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>salt and pepper<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>garlic powder<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aromatic herbs<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g. oregano, basil or thyme)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For the filling:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>500 g<\/strong>\u00a0minced meat (e.g. beef, lamb or a mixture)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 red onion<\/strong>\u00a0, finely chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 red pepper<\/strong>\u00a0, diced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 garlic cloves<\/strong>\u00a0, finely chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>250 g<\/strong>\u00a0tomato puree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>olive oil<\/strong>\u00a0(for frying)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>salt and pepper<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 teaspoon<\/strong>\u00a0sweet paprika powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Some water<\/strong>\u00a0(for simmering)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>150 g<\/strong>\u00a0mozzarella, sliced \u200b\u200bor grated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Prepare eggplants:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wash the eggplants and cut into\u00a0<strong>slices about 0.5 cm thick<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the slices on a cutting board, sprinkle generously with salt and let them rest\u00a0<strong>for 15-20 minutes<\/strong>\u00a0to remove the bitter substances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the resting time, pat the eggplants with a paper towel to remove any liquid that has escaped.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Breading for the eggplants:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a bowl,\u00a0mix the\u00a0<strong>yogurt<\/strong>\u00a0,\u00a0<strong>eggs<\/strong>\u00a0,\u00a0<strong>garlic powder<\/strong>\u00a0, a pinch of\u00a0<strong>salt<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>pepper .<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix the breadcrumbs with the grated Parmesan and the aromatic herbs in a separate bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dip each eggplant slice first into the yoghurt-egg mixture and then into the breadcrumbs so that it is well coated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the breaded slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at\u00a0<strong>185 \u00b0C<\/strong>\u00a0for about\u00a0<strong>25 minutes<\/strong>\u00a0until golden brown.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Prepare the filling:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry the\u00a0<strong>onions<\/strong>\u00a0until translucent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the\u00a0<strong>pepper cubes<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>garlic<\/strong>\u00a0and fry briefly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the minced meat and fry until cooked through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Season\u00a0with\u00a0<strong>salt<\/strong>\u00a0,\u00a0<strong>pepper<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>paprika powder .<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the\u00a0<strong>tomato puree<\/strong>\u00a0and some water, reduce the heat and\u00a0simmer for about\u00a0<strong>15 minutes until the sauce has thickened.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Assemble the millefeuille:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place a layer of baked eggplant slices in an ovenproof dish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place a layer of the minced meat filling on top and cover with\u00a0<strong>mozzarella<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat the process until all ingredients are used up and finish with a layer of mozzarella.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5.
