I’ve been putting soap in my shoes after a walk since I was a child: my grandfather taught me this trick

When you move actively, sweat forms on your skin, and the process happens especially quickly in closed shoes.

Sweat is a great breeding ground for bacteria, so without regular cleaning, sweat can lead to an unpleasant odor.

This smell can appear very quickly in sports shoes, and it is not so easy to remove it from there; washing and drying are not always enough.

To solve this problem, I take toilet soap.

You will need two bars of soap.

Every time I come home, I put a bar of soap in my sneakers and leave it there until my next walk.

Once you do this, you will notice that soon there will be no trace of the smell left.

I like this method because of its effectiveness, and also because I don’t have to wash my shoes every time, since frequent washing has a negative effect on both their appearance and durability.

I read that you can deal with unpleasant odor in shoes using tea bags.

My experiment showed that this method does not bring results and I returned to the proven method with soap.
