Breakfast Pita Layered Delight

Ingredients:

4 round pita breads (can be cut from a regular one)

3 eggs

Salt and pepper to taste

100g sausage, sliced

120g cheese, grated

1 tomato, sliced

10g butter

Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients:

Grate the cheese.

Slice the sausage and tomato.

Beat the eggs in a bowl, adding salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble in the Pan:

Grease a large frying pan with butter and heat over medium-low heat.

Pour half of the beaten eggs into the pan, spreading evenly.

Layering:

Place the first pita bread on top of the eggs.

Add a layer of sausage and a portion of the grated cheese.

Place the second pita bread on top, followed by a layer of tomato slices and cheese.

Add the third pita bread, another layer of sausage and cheese.

Top with the fourth pita bread.

Cook the Layered Pita:

Pour the remaining beaten egg on top of the final pita, ensuring it spreads evenly.

Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes.

Flip and Finish Cooking:

Carefully flip the entire stack over, cover again, and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and the cheese is melted.

Serve:

Remove from the pan and let it cool slightly before cutting into wedges.

Serve warm.
