Lobster Tails Recipe With Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

For the Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes:

2 russet potatoes

1 garlic clove, minced

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup heavy cream or milk (adjust for desired creaminess)

For the Lobster Tails:

4 small lobster tails

Juice of 2 lemons

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning

1 tablespoon lemon pepper

1 tablespoon minced garlic

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1/2 small onion, finely chopped

Instructions:

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.

Add the minced garlic, butter, and heavy cream or milk.

Mash until smooth and creamy.

Add salt to taste.

Keep warm until ready to serve.

Prepare the Lobster Tails:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Butterfly the lobster tails by cutting through the top shell lengthwise and pulling the meat out slightly to rest on top of the shell.

In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, lemon pepper, and minced garlic.

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush them with the lemon juice mixture.

Dot each lobster tail with a small piece of butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.

Sauté Onions:

While the lobster tails are baking, melt the remaining butter in a small skillet over medium heat.

Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Serve:

Plate the creamy garlic mashed potatoes and top them with the sautéed onions.

Place the baked lobster tails alongside the mashed potatoes.

Garnish with fresh parsley and additional lemon wedges if desired.

Enjoy your luxurious meal of lobster tails with creamy garlic mashed potatoes!
