If You See Tomato Leaves Curling, Water the Bushes with This Solution

Curled leaves on tomatoes are not always a sign of disease. Often the plant is simply signaling that it lacks moisture, nutrients, or that the root system is experiencing stress from heat. If you react in time, the bushes will quickly recover and continue forming healthy fruits.

One of the simple ways to support tomatoes is watering with a solution of wood ash. It contains potassium, calcium and other microelements that help strengthen the plant, improve nutrition and promote normal leaf development.

How to prepare the solution:

  • 1 glass of sifted wood ash;
  • 10 liters of warm water.

Mix well, leave to infuse for 8–12 hours, then stir again and water at the roots.

Application rate: Under each adult bush 1 liter of ready solution is enough. Carry out the feeding on moist soil once every 10–14 days.

At the same time do not forget to check other possible causes of leaf curling. If there is strong heat — water the tomatoes less often but more abundantly. If the bushes are too dense — provide them with better ventilation. And if the leaves have spots or signs of damage, it is worth examining the plants for fungal diseases or pests.

In most cases it is enough to restore proper care, and in a few days the tops will stop curling, and new leaves will be even and healthy.

Take care of your tomatoes in time — and they will reward you with a generous harvest of large, juicy fruits!
