Instant Coffee Spumone: Ready in 5 Minutes Without Milk and Cream

In the summer, between coffee creams, cold coffee and coffee ice creams, you name it, coffee ice cream is a real treat that many love.

A recipe that you may not know but that is equally delicious is coffee spumone, it can be prepared in 5 minutes with very few ingredients and becomes the lightest and most satisfying dessert ready in 30 seconds in the summer, to do without the classic coffee after lunch.

In this version we will only use crushed ice and therefore we will do it without cream and without milk. Let’s see together how to do it

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons crushed ice
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 120ml of water

Preparation:

1. First, let’s make sure we have some ice in the freezer so that when we want to prepare our coffee spumone we will have all the ingredients ready to use.

Let’s put some ice cubes in a freezer bag and close it. Now take a kitchen towel and put the bag with the ice inside and with the help of a rolling pin or a meat beater we finely chop the ice until it almost becomes a powder. 2. Now take a large bowl and pour in 4 tablespoons of crushed ice. Then add a teaspoon of instant coffee, a teaspoon of icing sugar and finally 120ml of water.

These will be the only ingredients that we will use but if we want to prepare it in an even more delicious version we can use frozen milk cubes instead of water cubes. 3. Now take the whisk and start whisking our ingredients for at least 1 minute. 4.Once our spumone has reached the desired consistency, we can delicately pour it into glasses to serve it still fresh and frothy. If we want, we can also sprinkle it with bitter cocoa and that’s it! A real fresh delight for the palate after lunch or dinner.
