Tricks to keep your washing machine from jumping around the floor or running away from the bathroom

It often happens that the washing machine jumps on the floor in such a way that it seems like it is about to run away from the bathroom.

We know a few tricks that will stop your washing machine from jumping anymore.

The washing machine jumps from the first washes

Sometimes a new  washing machine  starts to “dance” during the washing process.

Most likely, the reason for this is the transport bolts that are needed to transport household appliances.

Just look at our roads! Even when you drive on a smooth road, you still feel vibration, so what can we say about potholes and ruts.

Therefore, the washing machine tank   is secured with transport bolts.

After you have installed the equipment, they must be removed.

If you do not do this, the washing machine will vibrate during the washing process.

Finding these bolts and removing them is absolutely not difficult.

Position of the legs

Almost every time the machine is unbalanced because its feet are not installed correctly.

And this can create serious and even disastrous problems: the washing machine will fall, break down itself and damage the objects around it.

How do you know if the feet are adjusted correctly? You need to gently rock the machine from side to  side.  If you can do this and the machine tilts, then you need to adjust the feet. Just tighten them more tightly and there is no more problem.

Uneven floor

The option is simple, but it is quite common. If  the washing machine is not installed on a level floor surface, it will definitely jump and rattle loudly.

These differences are difficult to detect with just your eyes, but can be found using a building level.

If you don’t have one, you can place a plate or glass bowl filled with water on the floor and look at the position of the liquid.

The washing machine may also jump on a flat floor surface if it is slippery. In this case, it is advisable to place a rubber mat under the unit or use special pads under the feet.

The surface should not be tilted more than 2 degrees, otherwise the washing machine will touch surrounding objects.

The more you load the machine, the higher the load will be.

First of all, you need to carefully study the instructions. After all, the washing machine cannot be overloaded or underloaded. If you decide to wash a pair of socks and a pair of underwear, this will not be enough.

However, you should not try to stuff a blanket that is too large into the drum. The drum should be filled with things by about 2/3.
