My method of onion protection has been tested in practice, and for several years in a row I have been harvesting a simply gorgeous crop. This method involves using a solution of iron sulfate and tar.

Copper sulfate protects plantings well from diseases and enriches bulbs with useful microelements, such as iron.

This element prevents yellowing of feathers and helps to better absorb nitrogen from the soil.

Tar, like copper sulfate, has disinfectant properties.

In addition, it is an excellent means for preventing the appearance of onion flies.

Before processing, it is necessary to sort the sets, discarding damaged, sprouted or dry specimens.

After this, you need to prepare a solution in some non-metal container.

It is prepared from 2 large spoons without a slide per liter of water.

This amount is enough to process 1 kg of onions.

The onions are soaked in this solution for several hours, stirring occasionally.

After soaking, the onions need to be washed with water.

The onions may darken due to the copper sulfate, but this is normal.

At the next stage for processing you need to use 2-3 tablespoons of liquid soap or dishwashing detergent and tar, not quite a full
large spoon, dissolved in 1 liter of water. The onion is soaked in this solution for a couple of hours.

After this, you can immediately begin planting. This treatment will help you get a strong and healthy onion crop, free from diseases and pests.
