
Ingredients:
Cucumbers
Chives
Fresh dill and basil
Garlic, finely minced
Juice of 1 lemon
3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
Freshly ground pepper
Toast (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Cucumbers: Thinly slice the cucumbers and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and let them sit for 5 minutes to release their juices.
Make the Herb Mix: Chop the chives, dill, and basil finely and add them to the cucumbers.
Add Garlic and Lemon: Add minced garlic to the bowl. Squeeze the lemon juice over the cucumber mixture.
Mix with Yogurt: Stir in the Greek yogurt until everything is well combined. Season with freshly ground pepper to taste.
Serve: If desired, toast some bread and arrange the cucumber salad on top. Serve immediately.
