Hungarian Garlic Langos β the best recipe I’ve ever made
Ingredients π:
πΎ 500 g wheat flour
π₯ 1 teaspoon salt
π₯ 1 tablespoon sugar
π₯ 25 g fresh yeast
π₯ 250 ml milk
π§ 100 ml water
π Oil for frying
π§ 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
π§ 200 g grated cheese
π₯ 200 ml sour cream
Preparation method π₯£:
- Preparing the dough π₯:Β In a bowl, mix the yeast with the warm milk and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes until it starts to foam. Add the flour, salt and water, then knead until you get a smooth and elastic dough. Cover with a towel and let it rise for an hour.
- Forming the pies π©βπ³:Β Divide the dough into 6-8 pieces and form balls. Then roll them out thinly, like pies.
- Frying π³:Β Heat the oil in a pan and fry the patties on both sides until golden and crispy. Remove them to a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
- Serving π§π§:Β Spread the pies with sour cream, sprinkle with crushed garlic and grated cheese. Serve hot! π
