The love story between the two stars began when they starred together in Anna Christie on Broadway in 1993, where sparks flew between them despite the actress being married at the time.
Her marriage eventually ended, and she and the actor married in 1994, raising two sons together.
The pair’s deep connection was evident from the start, with them describing an undeniable chemistry that permeated their performances.
Even the actress herself, years later, said that she was not bothered by the actor’s reputation as a ladies’ man, commenting: “I’m pleased that women fall in love with him, because I know why,” writes Country Living.
After their wedding, their love only grew stronger, and they became parents: in 1995, their first son was born, and 18 months later, their second.
However, in 2009, actress Natasha Richardson suffered a head injury while skiing. Initially, she didn’t notice the fall, but her condition soon worsened, and doctors declared her brain dead.

Neeson, remembering the agreement they had made, made the difficult decision to remove her from life support after allowing her family and friends to say their final goodbyes.
Their eldest son, Michel, later followed in her acting footsteps, appearing in films and TV series such as Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Vox Lux, Big Dogs, Broken Symphony, and Paradise.
