I’m cooking the most delicious dinner with you, which my husband and I love! Everyone likes this Hutsul recipe and you will appreciate it!
Ingredients:
- Potatoes – 6 pcs.
- Onion – 1 pc.
- Salt – 0.5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper – to taste
- Eggs – 1 pc.
- Flour – 3 tbsp.
- Oil for frying
Cheese hat:
- Boiled eggs – 2 pcs.
- Hard cheese – 120 g
- Garlic – 2 cloves.
- Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp.
- Dill – optional for garnish
Preparation:
I grate the peeled potatoes on a coarse grater. I cut the onion into small cubes, add to the potatoes. I add salt and pepper, add the egg, mix. I add the flour, mix.
I pour oil into a frying pan and heat it. I spread the mass with a tablespoon, forming patties. I fry on moderate heat on one side until golden brown.

Cheese hat:
I cut the boiled eggs into small cubes, grate the cheese, squeeze the garlic through a press. I add the mayonnaise, and mix.
I turn the dumplings over, put the cheese cap on top, distribute it evenly. I cover with a lid, and fry over medium heat for 5 minutes.

I chop the dill and decorate the pancakes under the cheese cap. Delicious!
