How to make rosemary oleolite, which relieves pain, treats colds and promotes hair growth
Preparing the peels:
Wash the lemons thoroughly under running water to remove dirt and debris.
Rub them with a clean cloth.
Using a potato peeler or sharp knife, remove the peel, avoiding the white part underneath, which can give the powder a bitter taste.
Drying the peels:
In the sun: Place the peels on a tray covered with a clean cloth and let them dry in the sun for 2-3 days, removing them overnight to avoid moisture.
In the oven: Place the peels on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 50°C (120°F) for 2-3 hours, leaving the oven door slightly ajar to allow moisture to escape.
Using a dehydrator: Set the temperature to 40-50°C (104-122°F) and let them dry for about 5 hours or until they are completely dehydrated. The shells are ready when they are dry and crispy to the touch.

It’s also a great way to avoid waste by using up the shells that would otherwise be thrown away.
