Fantastic chocolate brioche donuts, oh, I love these things!

100 ml warm water
1 egg
100 ml warm milk 60 ml vegetable oil
6 g fresh yeast


400 g flour
1 teaspoon salt
25 g sugar
70 g softened butter and eggs chopped dark chocolate

Preparation:

Whisk together the warm milk and water with a little sugar. Add the fresh yeast and whisk until dissolved. Set aside for 10 minutes.


Add an egg, vegetable oil, flour, and salt. Stir to combine, then knead for 10 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball and cover with plastic wrap. Set aside for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Brush with softened butter and fold twice. Dust with flour and roll out again into a rectangle.


Cut into 12 strips and shape into a ring as shown in the photo.
Set the ring cakes aside to rise again for 30 minutes, then brush with beaten egg and garnish with chopped chocolate.


Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.
