Accident in the Loire-Atlantique: investigation launched

Although the reasons why the mother abandoned her car and drove onto the highway remain unknown, the Nantes prosecutor’s office intends to establish the exact circumstances of the tragedy. An investigation has been launched to shed light on this horrific accident.

Toxicology tests were carried out on the deceased young woman, but the results are not yet available.  France Bleu  reports that it took police several hours to identify the two victims because the mother had no documents. She was only identified after it was discovered that her documents were in her vehicle, a broken-down car located on a nearby departmental road, not on the highway.
