A thick layer of carbon deposits gradually forms on the gas stove grate, which cannot be removed using conventional means.

To keep my kitchen tidy, I’ve been using a product for years that quickly removes carbon and grease. I have a cast-iron grate, but the method works for other metals as well.
Dishwasher tablet – universal detergent
First, you need to take a pan that will fit the grill, fill it with water and put it on the fire.
Add two dishwasher tablets to the water. Bring the water to a boil, then place a rack in the pan and let it simmer for about half an hour.

After removing the grill from the hot water, immediately begin cleaning it. Any available tools, such as a sponge or brush, will do the trick.

The hot water and the tablet’s ingredients will soften the grease and remove it easily. Any remaining residue can be removed with a knife.

So I clean half of the grill this way, then turn it over, lower the dirty part into the pan and repeat everything described above.
