Ingredients:

For the meatballs:
1 kg ground beef
3 onions, chopped
200 grams bread, soaked in milk for 10 minutes and squeezed dry
200 ml milk
50 grams butter, melted
Salt, pepper, and your favorite seasonings to taste
For the mashed potatoes:
900 grams potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/2 cup milk
50 grams butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Make the meatballs: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onions, soaked bread, milk, melted butter, salt, pepper, and your favorite seasonings. Mix well until everything is well combined.
Form the meatballs: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
Bake the meatballs: Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
While the meatballs are baking, make the mashed potatoes: In a large pot, bring the potatoes to a boil in salted water. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain the water and return the potatoes to the pot.
Mash the potatoes: Using a potato masher or hand mixer, mash the potatoes until smooth. Add the milk and butter and continue mashing until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve: Serve the meatballs with the mashed potatoes on a plate. Enjoy!
Tips:
You can use any type of ground meat you like for the meatballs, such as ground pork, ground lamb, or a combination of ground beef and pork.
If the mixture seems too wet, you can add an extra tablespoon or two of breadcrumbs.
You can also add other ingredients to the meatballs, such as grated cheese, chopped fresh herbs, or a beaten egg.
For the mashed potatoes, you can use any type of milk you like, such as whole milk, almond milk, or coconut milk.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
I hope this is helpful!
