Even a small scratch or a light blow from a saucepan on the glass can weaken its structure. The damage may be unnoticeable, but after a few weeks or months, it can lead to a sudden explosion.

How to prevent glass oven doors from breaking?

Avoid using abrasive cleaners, as they can cause microscopic damage.
Close the oven door carefully—avoid slamming it, especially if the air inside is hot.
Avoid overusing the self-cleaning mode, as it heats the oven to extreme temperatures, increasing the risk of glass breakage.

Inspect the doors regularly—if you notice even the smallest cracks or chips, it’s best to replace the glass promptly.
