Mirela Vaida wants her two little boys and little girl to have a normal life. “They need to get used to the real world”

After a brief absence from the cameras, Mirela Vaida returned this summer to host Acces Direct, the show that made her known to the general public. Recently, the presenter spoke about her home life and how she raises her three children.

At 43 years old, Mirela Vaida is one of the most appreciated and beloved figures on Romanian television. In a recent interview, the star provided details about both her personal side and her professional activity.

In an interview with the publication Libertatea, she openly discussed her relationship with her husband and told how their love story began.

“When we met, he didn’t know I was a public figure. I was working at a folklore television station and he didn’t watch. He found out later. I was very happy that he supported my talent, passion, desire to sing and do television. He is a calm, balanced, withdrawn Transylvanian, but he loved me as I am. He didn’t try to change me! When this happens, I take it as an offense. If you want to change me, don’t take me anymore. Find what you like!

He understood my madness, my freedom, my desire to be authentic. This is why we continue to work together! This is what true love looks like. He got used to the idea that I am a public figure, because at home I am a normal person, who takes care of household chores, family.

“I’m a mother concerned about the children, so he’s not necessarily connected to public life, what’s happening on TV or at events. Otherwise, I’m a normal wife! I take care to keep this balance to have peace and harmony,” said the presenter.

What relationship does Mirela Vaida have with her three children? How does the star manage her time?

Asked how children view their parents’ demanding schedule and what hobbies they have, Mirela revealed that

“They know that we have to leave every day at certain times. Their father leaves in the morning and returns in the afternoon, I leave at lunch and return in the evening. After school we all meet! It’s very important that they grow up with us, at this pace. They have a lot of activities, each one does a sport or two. My husband takes care of the activities, because he gets home from work faster. He drives them everywhere!”

It’s a mental and physical effort, fatigue speaks for itself, but we do it for their future! They need to have as many interests as possible, to know many things and to choose their field after they have experienced a little of it. We didn’t impose it on them, but we want them to be active! We want them to have a choice, especially because we work for them.

The children are normal, they go to a school in a commune in Ilfov County. This is how I want to raise them, in Romanian society, which includes all kinds of people! They need to get used to the real world, without being kept in a glass globe.

“We don’t refer to them as Mirela Vaida’s children. They are three siblings who go to school and have the same duties and rights as any other child,” the star added.
