Over time, grease and stubborn carbon deposits build up on your gas stove grates, which can be difficult to remove with regular cleaning products. Luckily, there’s a simple way to solve this problem!
Why you need:
- Large pot or pan (large enough to fit the grill)
- 2 dishwasher detergent tablets
- Hot water
Steps to follow:
- Fill the pot with water and put it on the stove.
- Add the two detergent tablets and let the water reach boiling point.
- Place the grill in the boiling water and let it simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
Tip: Hot water combined with detergent effectively dissolves grease and softens stubborn dirt.
- Remove the grill and scrub it thoroughly with a sponge or brush. If there are still stubborn stains, you can gently scrape them off with a dull knife.
- If necessary, repeat the process for the other half of the grill, rotating it in the pot.
Result?
A clean and refreshed grill, without much effort!
