Clean your stove grate with a simple method!

Over time, grease and stubborn carbon deposits build up on your gas stove grates, which can be difficult to remove with regular cleaning products. Luckily, there’s a simple way to solve this problem!

Why you need:

  • Large pot or pan (large enough to fit the grill)
  • 2 dishwasher detergent tablets
  • Hot water

Steps to follow:

  1. Fill the pot with water and put it on the stove.
  2. Add the two detergent tablets and let the water reach boiling point.
  3. Place the grill in the boiling water and let it simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.

Tip:  Hot water combined with detergent effectively dissolves grease and softens stubborn dirt.

  1. Remove the grill and scrub it thoroughly with a sponge or brush. If there are still stubborn stains, you can gently scrape them off with a dull knife.
  2. If necessary, repeat the process for the other half of the grill, rotating it in the pot.

Result?

A clean and refreshed grill, without much effort!
