π Fluffy and crispy homemade bread
π ingredients
For the dough
340 ml warm water
60 ml vegetable oil
10 g dry yeast
600 g flour (preferably type 00)
8g salt
π¨βπ³ Preparation method
- Preparing the dough
Pour the warm water into a large bowl and add the vegetable oil.
Sprinkle the dry yeast and mix well until completely dissolved.
Add the flour and salt, then mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Kneading
Lightly grease the work surface with a little vegetable oil.
Turn the dough out onto the counter and knead for 5β7 minutes , until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel and let it rise in a warm place, for about 1 hour , until it doubles in volume.
- Bread shaping
Divide the risen dough into 3 equal parts .
Form a ball from each part, flattening lightly with your palm.
- Second rising & baking
Cover the dough balls with a towel and let them rise again for 20 minutes .
Before baking, lightly sprinkle them with water and sprinkle a little flour on top.
Make fine cuts on the surface of each ball with a sharp knife.
Preheat the oven to 180Β°C and bake the bread for 25β30 minutes , until you get a golden and crispy crust.
- Cooling and serving
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool completely on a rack.
The result: a bread that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside π₯°

Excellent as an accompaniment to soups, salads or main courses .

Store bread in a paper bag or wrapped in a cotton towel to stay fresh for 2β3 days.
