If you have 500 ml of milk, be sure to prepare this incredibly delicate and beautiful Broken Glass dessert!
This is a great idea for a holiday table, or just to put you in a sweet mood.
Bright pieces of jelly, filled with delicate milk mass, look spectacular, and the taste is
— light, refreshing and pleasantly creamy.
Ingredients:
- Jelly – 3 packs of different colors
- Gelatin – 25 g
- Milk – 500 ml
- Sugar — 4 tablespoons
- Vanilla sugar — 10 g
Preparation:
Pour 300 ml of hot boiled water into a bowl. Add one packet of jelly (any colour) and stir well until the crystals dissolve. Pour into a mould or plate. Repeat for each colour. Leave the jelly to set completely (about 2–3 hours in the fridge).
Pour gelatin (25 g) into 100 ml of cold milk, stir and leave for 10 minutes to swell. Heat the remaining milk (approximately 400 ml), but do not boil. Add sugar and vanilla sugar, stir. Melt the swollen gelatin in a water bath and pour it into the warm milk. Let the mixture cool slightly (so as not to melt the colored jelly during pouring).
Cut the frozen colored jelly into cubes. Arrange the pieces in a ramekin or dessert dish. Carefully pour over the milk jelly. Refrigerate until completely frozen (about 3–4 hours).
If you want to make a large Broken Glass cake, use a silicone mold, then the dessert will come out easily after it hardens.
