Gummy candies, also known as gummies , originated in Germany π©πͺ in the early 20th century with the famous Haribo brand. Over time, they became popular worldwide π. The great thing about making them at home is that you can control the ingredients, reduce the sugar, and add natural flavors with fruit πππ .

Heat the juice in a saucepan over medium heat (do not let it boil, just warm it).

Add the honey or chosen sweetener and mix well.
3οΈβ£ Add the gelatin
Dissolve the gelatin in a little cold water, let it hydrate, and add it to the hot juice. Stir until completely dissolved.
4οΈβ£ Fill molds
Pour the mixture into the silicone molds and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
5οΈβ£ Unmold and enjoy
Carefully unmold and that’s it! You now have some delicious homemade gummies π.
