Ingredients:

• Needle-nose pliers – to remove and reinstall the stopper
• Toothpick – to restore the shape of the stopper and slightly widen its opening
• Hair dryer – to warm up the zipper teeth and make them more elastic for better performance
• Thread and needle – if the stopper doesn’t fit very tightly, you can secure the edge of the fabric

Way:

One day, the zipper on my favorite jacket broke. It wouldn’t close all the way, and two stoppers were missing in the middle of the zipper.

Step 1. Remove the damaged limiter

First, I took a pair of needle-nose pliers and carefully removed the stopper from the end of the zipper.

This is the part that holds the last teeth together so that the dog doesn’t jump down any further. I picked it up and gently pushed it out, and it came out easily.
