The gesture everyone makes in the car that can be very dangerous: be very careful

The car is one of the most frequently used means of transport and, at times, essential in our daily lives. With the arrival of summer, high temperatures and extreme heat make driving unpleasant. During this summer period, driving is not necessarily synonymous with comfort.

For a more comfortable drive, you can use a feature in your vehicle to cool the cabin. However, doing so could be dangerous if not done correctly.

What is the gesture to avoid when you are driving your car?

During the summer season, driving can become a real nightmare. With a heat wave, the heat can quickly become a limiting factor while driving.  To remedy this, you can turn on the air conditioning   in your car.   However, if you don’t activate it correctly, you put your health at risk.

How to use the air conditioning in the car?

With the   summer heat  , it’s natural to turn on the air conditioning while driving. But doing so puts your health at risk. While the air conditioning cools your car, you risk experiencing thermal shock from the temperature change when you get out. You should set it to 26 degrees Celsius, not 16°C, if the outside temperature is 30°C.   The body is very sensitive to temperature changes, and you can become ill more easily.   Furthermore, when the air conditioning is directed at you, you risk muscle contractions, especially if you remain exposed for an extended period.

– Air conditioning, a dehydrating factor in the car

Turning   on the air conditioning   in your car can make you sick and give you a cold. The purpose of air conditioning is to cool the air in your car, but it also dries it out. As a result, it can cause dehydration, and you may experience a runny nose, dry eyes, or a sore throat.  To avoid this, don’t set your air conditioning too low.

– Your car’s air conditioning is a breeding ground for bacteria

In fact, over time, air conditioners accumulate bacteria and dust, gradually becoming dirty and potentially turning into a breeding ground for bacteria. When you turn it on, all these bacteria are released into the room, putting you at risk because you’ll be breathing contaminated air.

The air circulated by air conditioners is composed of pollutants and allergens that can be harmful to your health, especially if you have allergies. It could even be harmful to people without allergies; they may develop illnesses or experience other symptoms.  Furthermore, if you notice a bad smell when you turn on the air conditioner, it probably needs cleaning.

With high temperatures, you can alternatively open your vehicle’s windows and park in the shade when parking.
