As we know, oatmeal is a product that is very beneficial for human health. However, few people know that it can also be an excellent plant food.

Oatmeal is especially beneficial for young seedlings, and now I’m going to share with you a wonderful oatmeal fertilizer recipe that you can easily make at home.
How to prepare fertilizer
As you may already know, grains can also be beneficial for plants. Each grain can be used to create its own fertilizer with various nutrients.

If you have expired grain, don’t throw it away. When planting seedlings in the spring, simply add 1-2 tablespoons of expired grain to the hole.
And you’ll see how your plants will grow and develop better than those that don’t receive this type of fertilizer. Semolina is especially good for tomatoes.
To prepare oatmeal feed, you will need 1 cup (200 ml) of oatmeal.
Place them in a blender, add 0.5 liters of water and mix thoroughly with a blender.

The water will immediately turn a milky white color. Pour the resulting oatmeal water into a jar and add 1 tablespoon of sugar, which will provide energy and promote the growth of beneficial bacteria.
Close the jar and leave it in a warm place for 2-3 days. By this time, the fertilizer will be ready.
Beneficial bacteria will begin to develop in it, and nitrogen, which is necessary for plants, will also appear.

How to use fertilizer
Before use, mix the fertilizer thoroughly and strain. Dilute the fertilizer with water in a ratio of 1 to 5.
For every 0.5 liters of fertilizer, you need to add another 2.5 liters of water. You can begin feeding the seedlings with this fertilizer 14 days after true leaves appear.
Apply this fertilizer every two weeks, or even every 10 days, while the plants are growing indoors. This fertilizer can also be used in the garden.
