Many products and even waste that everyone has in their kitchen can be very effective fertilizers for flowers.
In particular, you can make fertilizer for indoor plants from spices. You can also feed plants using ordinary bay leaves.
Bay leaf for flowers – what are the benefits?
Bay leaf has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It’s also rich in vitamins B, A, and C, and contains potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, and zinc.
And most importantly, bay leaf is rich in acetic and formic acids, which have an excellent stimulating effect on plants.
Moreover, this type of fertilizer will not only strengthen, improve the health and stimulate the growth of indoor flowers, but will also repel spider mites.

Can you water flowers with bay leaf infusion? Of course you can, and even should. Making this flower fertilizer at home is very easy.
To do this, pour one liter of hot water (about 70 degrees Celsius) over four bay leaves. It is recommended to prepare the infusion in a jar with a lid.
In this case, the essential oils of the bay leaf will remain inside.
The solution should be left to stand for 3-4 hours and cool to room temperature.
After this, indoor flowers can be watered at the roots, sprayed from a spray bottle, or the leaves can be wiped with a cotton pad.
Bay leaf fertilizer should be applied no more than once a month.
