Many people care for the spathiphyllum the same way: water it, transplant it, place it in a bright place. The leaves grow dense and green, but there are no flowers for months. The reason is often not in the lighting or the pot, but in the lack of nutrients that are responsible specifically for the formation of buds.

There is an accessible fertilizer that helps the plant accumulate strength for long and abundant flowering.

What will be needed?

Take monopotassium phosphate. Exactly potassium and phosphorus stimulate the laying of flower buds and support the healthy development of the root system.

How to prepare the solution:

• 1 gram of monopotassium phosphate;
• 1 liter of warm settled water.

Mix the powder well until completely dissolved.

How to use correctly

Before feeding slightly moisten the soil with ordinary water. Then water the spathiphyllum with the prepared solution at the root.

Such feeding is enough to carry out once every 2–3 weeks during the period of active growth. In winter, when the plant rests, it is better not to apply fertilizers.
