Ingredients:

250 g pitted dates
30 g walnuts
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoons water
200 g cottage cheese
1 tablespoon sour cream
25 g coconut flakes
40 g dark chocolate
Desiccated coconut for decoration
Instructions:
Prepare the Date and Walnut Mixture:
Place the pitted dates and walnuts in a food processor.
Add the cocoa powder and water.
Blend until a smooth, sticky mixture forms.
Prepare the Cottage Cheese Mixture:
In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the sour cream.
Add the coconut flakes and stir until well combined.
Form the Balls:
Moisten your hands with water to prevent sticking.
Take a small amount of the date and walnut mixture and flatten it in your palm.
Place a small amount of the cottage cheese mixture in the center.
Fold the date mixture around the cottage cheese mixture to form a ball.
Chill:
Place the formed balls on a plate or tray.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours to allow them to set.
Coat with Chocolate and Decorate:
Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
Dip each ball into the melted chocolate to coat.
Roll the coated balls in desiccated coconut for decoration.
Place back in the fridge to allow the chocolate to set.
Serve:
Once the chocolate has set, your date and cottage cheese balls are ready to serve.
